Good Bones Preservation was established in 2026 to provide historic building solutions to homeowners & beyond. Using a less-is-more approach, we want to make historic restoration attainable for all while being sustainable for the environment. We specialize in preservation design, offering a multitude of historically-informed services toward bettering our built environment. Historic buildings have been standing for hundreds of years, and we want them to stand for hundreds more.
Our Offering
We are proud to offer an extensive range of services to historic home owners or prospective buyers. This includes (but is not limited to) small-scale exterior design & rejuvenation and full-scale historic interior design. No matter how small or how big, the Good Bones mission is to revitalize and restore historic buildings using traditional preservation practices. To inquire and see our full packages, please email us at kinsale@goodbonespreservation.com.
House Recycling Program
We know that we cannot save every home, and the influx of readily available building materials leads to the demolishing of historic structures to make way for modern development. While we truly believe that most buildings are worth saving, Good Bones recognizes that historic buildings will be demolished. For us, unavoidable demolition creates space for our house recycling program.
If a historic building is approved for demolition, we are able to send our team to rescue any historic materials that would love to be recycled or renewed. These items include but are not limited to doors & doorknobs, hardware, tile, sinks, and windows. This is a free-of-charge service that we are excited to offer, moving us one step closer to a more sustainable world.
If you or someone you know is interested in this program, please inquire at kinsale@goodbonespreservation.com.
We look forward to hearing from you. Thank you for following our mission.
